Keep your aquatic life happy and healthy with the LiveAquaria® brand Chlorine Neutralizer to treat tap water and neutralize chlorine and chloramine.
The presence of these chemicals in water can cause damage to your biological filter and harm your aquatic life. Fish exposed to chlorine and chloramine can (depending on the level) stress fish, cause burning and even death. They can prevent nutrient intake for plants, leading to disease, inhibited root structure and toxicity, which can cause death. They are also detrimental to algae, coral and invertebrates.
Directions and Dosage:
Use 1 teaspoon (5 ml) per 10 gallons of water to treat chlorine and 2 teaspoons (10 ml) per 10 gallons of water to treat chloramines. For extremely high levels of chlorine or chloramine, dosage can be increased to 10x the recommended amount.
For best results turn off protein skimmer, UV sterilizers and ozonizers for 4-6 hours after adding LiveAquaria® Chlorine Neutralizer.
